My one year old Maltese just got spayed on Wednesday. The first 2 days she was tired but now she is back to being her happy self. I’m glad I did it, because I know that I would not be able to take care of more puppies.

You make a very valid point here - getting your pet neutered is the responsible thing to do. It does help improve their health but also helps control unwanted “patters of little tiny feet” as you rightly say.
